I was notified by a friend that he had found a virus on his computer and
thought he might have transmitted it. He has since sent the instructions
for searching for it and I found that I did have it. I followed the
instructions and removed it today. It would probably be to your advantage
to looks for it. They say it lays dormant for 4 days and then kills your
hard drive.

To permanently delete the file: Follow these instructions very carefully!

1. Go to 'start' - then to 'find or search' (depending upon your computer)
2. In the "search for files or folders' (should be the first open option)
type in sulfnbk.exe - this is the virus file
3. In the 'look in' area be sure you have the drive C selected, if you
click on the arrow you will see your options. Choose C for your hard drive
4. Hit 'search or find' button.
5. When the system finishes looking and if the file is in your system it
will come up on the list. It has an ugly blackish icon that looks like
crudely written letters and the name sulfnbk.exe.
6. DO NOT OPEN IT!!!
7. Right click on the file itself, go down the resulting list to delete and
left click on the delete
8. It will ask if you want to send it to the recycle bin, say "yes"
9. Close out the search area and go back to your desktop (where your icons
are) and double click on the recycle bin.
10. Click on the 'file' at the top of the opened recycle bin and tell it
that you want to 'empty the bin'.

This should be done every so often anyway. When you delete anything in
your system, actually goes to this bin and if the bin is never emptied (like
your trash can) then it just stays there.

If you do find this in your system, don't forget to notify the people in
your address book(s).

Luckily this has a delay build in. I did find it on my computer and I use
virus scanners. Please give this your immediate attention.

John
