Jon,

I have to agree with you. One of the things I found out a long time ago
is that the more I talk about and use something the knowledgable I became.

If it had not been for people answering my stupid questions I would not
be much better off than I am today.

That's not to say I don't get irritated answering why the "make" command
doesn't work when it's not in the PATH. I just consider it part of what
goes along with being around for so long.................

:-)

Subject: RE: [gb-users] ADMIN: Mailing List Archives

Thanks to David for pointing out this resource.

As for the thread at

http://www.mail-archive.com/cgi-bin/htsearch?method=and&format=short&co
nfig=gb-users_gta_com&restrict=&exclude=&words=113

and the comments against it, I'm probably being idealistic when I say that
I see this list as a resource to all interested parties. While I
understand the monotony of "same old, same old", I've often found that upon
explaining material to which I thought I was thoroughly familiar, I achieve
some new insight into the same old stuff.

I guess this newbie will just go back to "reading the mail" in hopes that
some useful tidbit will pass by.

Signing my own death warrant,
Jon Schlegel
