I recently tried enabling the RDNS lookup requirement on our GB-Flash's Email Proxy and started loosing about 25% of our inbound email. The bad thing was that the only message received on the other end was that the message was delayed and will be retried ... the standard SMTP message indicating that the server is unavailable.
I don't know if this was due to time-outs or if this is the response indicating no reverse lookup available. I would like to use this feature but not at the expense of losing legitimate email.
