Hello group.

I wonder if anyone else is using GBAuth for authentication, and whether they can
enlighten me as to why I see almost the exact opposite happening to that I expect when
I turn it on?

I have configured up the GB1000 (V3.2.5s) for a mobile VPN and it works a treat - the
test Laptop can dial in to one of several ISP's (to prove it works with them all) and
I can get straight into our network using the address ranges specified for the mail
server, user shares and Intranets. GREAT!!!

But for our sales force I wanted to add that extra level, which seemed to be offered
by the GBAuth process. So I downloaded GBAuth (V3.2.3 seems to be the latest) program
and install it on my (Windows XP) Laptop, and I use the GBAdmin interface to check the
'Require Mobile Authentication' in the VPN Objects section. All set I think.

Now I do the following:

- establish dial-up session - OK
- Run the GBAuth program - requests information and verifies, tells me I have 10 mins
to establish..... -OK
- Try to use the tunnels that work fine without GBAuth - NO WAY!!!

After 2 hours of mods and tests, I'm baffled!
I take the need for the GBAuth off at the GB1000 end and it all works fine without any
authentication, put it back on and it fails!
Whassup?

Thanks in advance for any information proffered!
