Make sure that the netmask is the same on the two workstations and on the GB interface that they are connected to.
If the workstations are on the PRO trying to ping servers on the EXT then check your outbound filters. If the workstations are on the EXT trying to ping servers on the PSN or PRO, check your tunnels and remote access filters. Beyond that, you'll probably have to give more information.
