FWIW, depending on your desired result, you may be able to work around this from the syslog-side. Some syslog packages have the ability to direct messages to a specific destination based on the IP of the box sending the logs, regardless of the priority or facility of the message. I find this feature really handy, it basically lets me say, "send everything from the GB to /path/to/file". This also includes the messages that aren't otherwise configurable on the GB, like the ones that get logged to the "daemon" facility. -- Alex Howansky Wankwood Associates http://www.wankwood.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe to the digest version first unsubscribe, then e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive of the last 1000 messages: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]
