Many thanks to all,

Any risk(s) from turning that crap off, or does it replace standard P&P?

Microsoft/B.G. is STUPID!

Wait until that gets hacked (if not already)!

FYI everyone:

Did you all hear about the bug(s) in Virtual Machine and I.E.?

I detected it about 3 weeks ago when an email (HTML) came in, tried to
open a web site (in I.E.) and could not because of how my system is
configured.

I looked at the site's source code and noticed it was attempting some
nasty things.

The subject was something like: "_________"

Make long story short -

http://www.informationweek.com/story/IWK20020919S0010

There is also the old nimda crap in one with a subject of: " The best
possible mortgage _________"

Coincidence???

Have fun,

Danny

I've been noticing a large amount of this garbage on my net - all from
an XP system.

Anyone know what XP would be using port 1900 for?

FILTER: RAF (default) block - warning UDP
[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/1057]->[2xx.xxx.xxx.xxx/1900] xl1 l=132

FYI: the source IP address is a PRO net address (XP workstation),
destination address is Firewall (PRO network) NIC address.

Very odd.

Danny
