As for "Picnic at Hanging Rock", this is probably most recognized as the title of an Australian movie by Peter Weir, (originally a book by Joan Lindsay, 1967). This Australian New Wave film is about some Victorian school girls who disappear mysteriously one afternoon in 1900 while on a picnic (in Australia).
