You need routes on the GB-1000, Nortel and the ROBOX to have full
visibility across all nets.

It's been a while so I may be off on this. If the gateways listed do not
work, try using the internal NIC ip of each box (respectively) instead.

Route 1 (routes added to GB-1000 config)

Network 192.168.71.0
Gateway 207.xxx.xxx.13 (or IP of 192.168.1.0 lan NIC)

Network 10.150.4.0
Gateway 207.xxx.xxx.13 (or IP of 192.168.1.0 lan NIC)

Route 2 (routes added to ROBOX config)

Network 192.168.1.0
Gateway 216.xxx.xxx.118 (or IP of 192.168.71.0 lan NIC)

Network 10.150.4.0
Gateway 216.xxx.xxx.118 (or IP of 192.168.71.0 lan NIC)

Route 3 (routes added to Nortel config)

Network 192.168.1.0
Gateway 64.xxx.xxx.xxx (or IP of 10.150.4.0 lan NIC)

Network 192.168.71.0
Gateway 64.xxx.xxx.xxx (or IP of 10.150.4.0 lan NIC)

This config assumes your wan is a Y config with the GB-1000 being the
primary leg.

Everyone, PLEASE correct me if I am wrong.

Danny

Subject: [gb-users] vpn connection

Hi,
i need some help with a connection.
i am really just a pc tech that has graduated into a network tech.
i am learning this stuff as i go.

i have an office with a gb1000 and an office with a robox.
configuration is like this...
gb1000
external 207.xxx.xxx.13
internal 192.168.1.0
gateway 207.xxx.xxx.9

robox
external 216.xxx.xxx.118
internal 192.168.71.0
gateway 216.xxx.xxx.65

i have a vpn between them.

i also have a vpn between the gb1000 and a third office that uses a
nortel contivity 600.
nortel config
external 64.xxx.xxx.xxx
internal 10.150.4.0

i would like the robox office to be able to communicate with the nortel
office.

how do i go about this?
i have set up a static route on the robox for 10.150.4.0
what should i use as the gateway for that route?

any help would be GREAT!
Thanks
Rick
