In contrast to some of the other comments, I have had great success using Kiwi and I love it. It just works. For my GB-Pro logs, I have Kiwi only writing the logs to disk, creating individual files for each hour, and then at the end of the day I have it zip the files to conserve disk space. At the same time as this is happening, Kiwi is also handling syslog traffic from our core switch, a Cat 6509, and from numerous Cisco edge switches. The filtering capabilities are quite flexible and the GUI is great. Not only can you send logs to disk, but you can also log them to the screen in a separate window for each source.
I hope this has been helpful to someone.
