Thanks Paul, I have confirmed with the ISP that they are not port blocking in any way. Have also tried with alternate isp dialup.
I dont believe an gnatbox vpn uses TCP ports 135 or 69, these should be tunneled over ESP, though would be happy to be proved wrong. That was the quickest way to keep it from spreading. The other quick fix was blocking TFTP(69). You might want to try to set up a temp TFTP server and see if you can get to that.
