Hello,

GTA is currently examining this report. When opening a connection to a firewall using GBAdmin 3.4.1 the following sections may sometimes not be loaded:

DHCP server
High Availability

This issue only seems to occur when you open GBAdmin version 3.4.1 and the Product Type is for a Product that does not include these specific services. For example: You open GBAdmin and the Product Type is GB-Pro. Then connect over the network to a RoBoX, Flash or other system that has one or all of the above services. The Product Type will update to the correct Product. However, the configuration data for the DHCP server and HA will not be loaded. Saving all sections to the firewall will then erase this part of the configuration as no configuration data was loaded.

Work Around(s) -

1. After opening GBAdmin 3.4.1 change the Product Type selector to the type of system you will be connecting to. Then establish your connection to the firewall or open the configuration file. All configuration data should load properly.

2. If you open have already connected to the system. You can use the reload the effected section by clicking on the Reload Section ICON.

Note: GBAdmin is designed to remember the last Product Type selected.

This issue does not occur if the Product Type is a system with the same services. For example: Open GBAdmin 3.4.1 and the Product Type is GB-Flash. Connect to a running GB-750. All configuration data should load normally.

Product Type is located on the GBAdmin tool bar with a drop down menu for the supported products. Important - Product type cannot be changed on a system connected online. It can only be changed off line.

Regards,

David

I've been having problems as well with 3.4.1 & DHCP. I have a GB-200
that was shipped with v3.4.0. I configured it, then upgraded to v3.4.1.
First thing that happened was the Feature codes disappeared, so I typed
'em back in. Everything was working fine, except that when I took the
unit to a client site, DHCP did not function.

Guess I'd better check my GB Flash that I just upgraded from 3.3.4 to
3.4.1

Does anybody have a problem when using the latest 3.4.1 software with
GBAdmin 3.4.1 when connecting to the firewall it doesn't load any DHCP
Server settings so if you make any changes and save it back to the
firewall it erases all the DHCP settings on the firewall.
