I am setting up a static-static VPN for the first time. In fact, this is my
first attempt at setting up any kind of VPN with GB. At my end I am using
GB-Ware 3.5.1 and the other end has a Linksys router of some kind.

I believe that I have the VPN set up properly as I can see it being
established on the Active VPNs page of the web interface. However, in
trying to ping the remote host at the other end of the VPN, I do get
replies. In reviewing my logs, I see the message: "Possible spoof, return
interface doesn't match arrival interface" which seems to be referring to
the icmp traffic returning to me from the remote host. This probably
explains why I am not getting my ping replies, but I don't understand what
might be wrong with my configuration.

The other odd thing I have noticed is that my remote access filter for the
AH protocol and my inbound IP pass-through filter are not showing any hits
from the remote traffic. I would have expected to see some hits on these
filters because the VPN is showing up as active.

If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Thanks very much.
