I have a client with a 768kbps burstable frac-T1. We would like to offload all of the web browsing traffice to a $30/mo charter cable modem to speed up browsing and conserve our regular bandwidth for more important tasks. We were already working on implementing a GB-Ware with content filtering, however throwing this into the mix complicates things completely. I can't think of any way within the GB-Ware to force web traffic out a particular connection as I'm not aware of any policy-based or content-based routing features.
The simplest solution that I can come up with would be to install a Squid box on the cable modem and have the browsers configured to proxy there. This would defeat my content filtering completely. I really don't want to put in two separate GB-Wares with both having content filtering subscriptions. Any ideas? Any features that I'm just overlooking here?
