Hi,
The only thing to remember is that the chassis must have a IDE
interface, I am unsure if the 750 has a Dell interface?
The 750 also has 1x66MHz PCI-X slots.
It also does not have a IDE interface for the CF-IDE adapter.

We ended up using Poweredge 1600SC's which has 2x100mhz PCI-X slots and
a P4 processor with redundant power supplies
In H2A clusters.

Regards
Eric

Check with dell.com

here is the link to get you started:

c=pe750&s=bsd

The unit is a 1U rackmount and the Cereron option is about $500.

I've seen these in the past for 14" boxes around $400-500. I can't
remember where I last saw them, though. Firewalls don't need these
giant chassis with room for multiple hard drives, etc. I'm looking for
a basic cheap PC, Celeron even, in a small rack-mount box.

Chris,

What do you consiser inexpensive??? We have a local vendor who provides
1U rack mount systems with Intel motherboards which include 2 network
interfaces and at least 1 PCI slot. Around $1k. If that is of interest,
let me know.
