I downloaded the Iso from support, booted to the CD and ran the install.
It takes all of 5 minutes.

Two biggest problems I have had:

Be prepared for a LONG boot time is you ever have a hard crash of the
system. On an 80GB HD (about the smallest made nowadays) it took over
15 minutes to boot. The bigger the drive, the longer the boot. I
bought a 1 GB flash drive to fix that problem.

Having only one dongle and two system to configure is a real pain. You
can't get your new system totally configured if you use more then one
protected and one external interface without the dongle, which means
your live system goes down.

Subject: [gb-users] GB-WARE unrestricted build process?

This may seem like a really stupid question:

Once I port my old configs and tune them for the current version, how do
I create the install on the hard drive?

Thanks,
