Was hoping that any designated read access to data stored in the .data segement would be suffecient to indicate to the back-end the nessesity access is via the restricted lpm z-pointer instruction (with out having to get fancier than that). -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20243
