This patch seems to cause another ICE. I applied the patch on gcc-4.0 to fix this bug, and now the attached output causes an ICE with >= -O1 (the same seems to be true on gcc-4.1 as well). Reverting the patch seems to stop the new ICE. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=22252
