DJGPP 2.04 is newer than djgpp 2.03. You need to try the gcc 4.2.2 that's built with djgpp 2.04 (it's in the "beta" subdir, instead of "current"). You have installed the gcc 4.2.2 that's built with djgpp 2.03, which doesn't work as well with XP and Vista. -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34687
