------- Comment #6 from jakub at gcc dot gnu dot org 2008-11-07 17:12 ------- Apparently glibc used it only for 2 builtins in include/stdio.h and it seemed to be probably a workaround from back in 2003, I've verified it is unnecessary with gcc 4.1/4.3/4.4 and removed it. Current glibc trunk compiles with rth's patch just fine. Therefore I'm removing my objection. Can we proceed with this for 4.4 then?
