------- Comment #1 from dave dot korn dot cygwin at gmail dot com 2009-01-18 00:41 ------- Oh, I forgot to mention a further non-standardness about the DLL's name: on the Cygwin platform, the shared library version number should be separated from the name by a hyphen, not an underscore. So for Cygwin, the DLL should be named "cyggcc_s-1.dll" and the import library "libgcc_s.dll.a".
