Pat Haugen <pthaugen at gcc dot gnu.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |pthaugen at gcc dot gnu.org --- Comment #11 from Pat Haugen <pthaugen at gcc dot gnu.org> 2011-08-30 01:11:37 UTC --- (In reply to comment #10) > Note that while gcc.c-torture/compile/pr34856.c does not fail on > powerpc64-unknown-linux-gnu, gcc.dg/pr34856.c does (see > http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2011-08/msg03221.html ). Could a user of > powerpc*-linux-* try the patch at > http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2011-08/msg01861.html ? Yes, the patch applied to trunk fixes the ICE on gcc.dg/pr34856.c. Note that -maltivec is required to produce the error, which gcc.c-torture/compile/pr34856.c doesn't specify so that is why it didn't fail the same way.
