It's OK is you dump ctors for init_array if it simplifies your maintenance. We don't want you to be stuck with maintaining both systems. But give us some (documented!) way to control how the init_array gets populated, for when there's something you didn't think of in your planning. Like "using command line order breaks when there are intra-library order dependencies". Please. OK to re-open this ticket?
