Changes in 6.1.0 that fix this bug
I've experienced this issue as well while building 5.4.0 on a system with GNU
Make 3.80.
I've successfully built 6.1.0 on the same system, so this issue was fixed in
GCC 6. See the attached diff for the differences between the two.
I would like to see the changes in 6.1.0 backported to the upcoming 5.5.0 so
that this bug is resolved.
