Well, Dominique, I don't really know what to reply to this ... I appreciate the fact that you're worried about the overall progress of gfortran, and I do share that mindset. Moreover, I certainly don't want to doubt that Paul is doing great and important work there (as always), and it dearly deserves someone to review it. However, quite honestly, as a volunteer contributor to an open-source project, I guess I'm free to choose whether I want to contribute at all, and when and how to contribute. I'm sure my priorities don't always match yours or that of other people, but yes, believe it or not, right now this PR here is an issue to me, so I choose to devote some of my spare time to it, because it scratches a personal itch. Not much more to say.
