Indeed. It works fine on i386-pc-solaris2.11 and sparc-sun-solaris2.11 with gas. I do get BUS errors in gcc.unwind.pe.read_encoded_value_with_base on Solaris 11/SPARC when using /bin/as, but that's unrelated: there are several more failures that don't occur with gas.
