g:8817bd75802d3ae47c54ec4fe99103308353d4ed was committed to avoid the same
failures on x86_64 that had cropped up since this bug was had been raised and
it seems to take care of the -m32 problem as well. In my local builds on
x86_64-linux the test passes both with and without -m32.
