For elf targets, GCC outputs, things like:
.ident "GCC:

16.0.0 20251221 (experimental)"
If you don't want that you can compile with -fno-ident.
Anyways it is not in a loadable section/segment of the binary. So it is only
bloat on file size.
Plus this has been true since at least 2.95.3.
