--- Comment #8 from Jeffrey A. Law <law at gcc dot gnu.org> --- I've got it in my tester (mcore and iq2000 variants) where it's been behaving for about 6 months. I never saw an actual patch from HJ to fix the sh nor did he ever post the mcore & iq2000 patch for submission. ISTM HJ ought to own next steps here.
