--- Comment #23 from Peter Damianov <peter0x44 at disroot dot org> --- Most windows users don't tend to stick with gcc point releases since the concept of "LTS" doesn't really exist under msys2, etc. Especially not for cases where there also is a missing sh.exe. But there's also no downside so I'd say it's worth it. I know arm & others offer crosscompiling toolchains that work on windows hosts, so I think this would affect them. That's where users are more likely to make that choice probably.
