The fuzzing efforts from you (and others!) are greatly appreciated as they have found numerous bugs through the years. Having an occasional hiccup is a small price to pay for all the benefits the fuzzing efforts have brought to GCC. And yes, you could certainly argue that more information ought to be carried in the ELF headers to trigger hard errors when running a binary on a system where it can not be reliably run.
