Law <law at gcc dot gnu.org> --- So I think the question we're going to have here is there's potentially multiple issues touched on in this BZ and we're very much on the path of a kitchen-sink bug where it's never clear if the bug is resolved or not. So what I'd recommend is we get a distinct bug for each issue so that it's clear when each issue is rsolved. I would not worry about duplicates with old bugs, bisection, etc. As we resolve each issue we can make decisions about backporting based on the established backporting guidelines.
