_IO_stdin_ etc has since been removed as exported symbols from glibc.
There was no information on how Lua misbehavior so there is no way to reproduce
the issue. I had analyzied the change in comment #1 and it was correct which is
why I asked for a full testcase for Lua misbehavior and that was 5+ years ago
and this was originally filed 10 years ago (exactly) so it is hard to figure
out what is going wrong now.
