I mentioned this also in PR 125484. This could be the meta-bug about it.
Note HONOR_NANS alone can't change as it is used for only one value of the
pattern when we might need to check 2 or more values.

[Bug 125484] `(double)us1 < (double)us0` simplifying to `us1 < us0` sometimes
gets in the way of detecting min/max
