Perhaps it's a red herring, but I was surprised that sel_mode was BLKmode, but
required_sel_mode was V4HImode (given that op0 and op1 were both V4HImode).
Given that the sel is a VECTOR_CST there's no reason it couldn't be/become
V4HI? Alas, it's not my area of expertise.
