Also I don't think the patch will cause such a big regression, look at the latest performance data on https://lnt.opensuse.org/db_default/v4/SPEC/graph?plot.0=1285.327.0, performance comes back, so it can be related to test enviroment, or code alignment somehow caused the performance fluctuation.
