Right! The time stamp was meant to help you find what my check-out was missing.
Since I downloaded it from your GH site it must be GCC-16.1-darwin-r0 – as far
as one can trust MS, of course…

The "patch to fix support for makeinfo 4.8" was applied last night:

leopard pete 240 /\  ls -l gcc/doc/ifn.texi

The "rs6000/host-darwin.cc patch" was applied a few minutes ago:

Before I restart make I am preparing the MacPorts ticket with the files left.
