Running the avr testsuite from builddir/gcc, there is:
$ make -k check-gcc RUNTESTFLAGS=dg.exp=pr45865.c
$ grep ^FAIL -A2 testsuite/gcc/gcc.log
FAIL: gcc.dg/pr45865.c (test for excess errors)
