--- Comment #7 from Tobias Burnus <burnus at gcc dot gnu.org> ---
Parser support is now in C/C++ and Fortran.
Hence to do:
* Middle end handling, including target hook update and
mangling of 'declare simd' cloned functions.
* Doing something about the '__simd__' attribute (C/C++ and Fortran's 'simd')
to work with GLIBC's vector math functions, i.e.
/usr/include/bits/math-vector.h
uses 'declare simd' with __simd__ fallback and
/usr/include/finclude/math-vector-fortran.h
uses !GCC$ builtin… simd (…)
However, the !GCC$ / __simd__ version currently only supports the
(not)inbranch clauses
* Is the pointer comparison of the types sufficient or do we need to
do something different (regarding qualifiers, esp. with -std=gnu...
and typeof(var))?
* Need to implement (front end + target hook):
PR 127850 - [OpenMP] Handle user/manual-vectorization with SIMD trait in
'declare variant'
