--- Comment #7 from Jonathan Wakely <redi at gcc dot gnu.org> --- Yes, I suspect this will need changes to how AC_CHECK_FUNCS works, to stop assuming there's a unique symbol for each function. I wouldn't know how to do that in autoconf though. Maybe it's already fixed in upstream autoconf.
