--- Comment #5 from Hidetoshi Uranami <reinsirk at ruri dot waseda.jp> --- I ran a small experiment to check when the two attached testcases started working correctly on GCC 16, using -O2 -mavx2 for both testcases at both revisions. Both pass at commit https://gcc.gnu.org/cgit/gcc/commit/?id=65a3849eb46df2fbac6b41ff78dae13c85387f9e. At its parent, https://gcc.gnu.org/cgit/gcc/commit/?id=c6af130047a96a923351a174d9f2b51fcc9e8e55, both fail their assertions, but pass when -fno-tree-loop-vectorize is added.
