Unfortunately, it's totally useless for two reasons:
It doesn't contain any development tools (for example: missing
libtool, IIRC) and its kernel is too old for a Gentoo chroot to work.
If this is the case, then yes, its pretty useless to me.

As far as I can tell, the box has just been a waste of electricity :(
ryao mentioned that to me in IRC after I made my request. I
bootstrapped myself out of the vfork issue on the yeeloong and should be
able to do the same on this box ... if i had physical access :(
