Hi Alan,

I updated the wiki page about gcc49 which unfortunately broke down
and no longer boots, like gcc51 and gcc52 did in their time.

We use consumer hardware for "exotic" architectures and these
have proven less reliable than server or consumer x86 (where
I assume hardware vendors have capitalized know-how to make
cheap but quite reliable boxes).
