I would like to back port this to GCC 7 before the GCC 7.3 release.
You might consider not including dbxelf in tm_file. I realize many other targets include it, but embedded stabs is something we're really like to get rid of.
For RTEMS we don't need this embedded stabs support at all, but I would like to stay as close to the *-*-elf configuration as possible. Would it make sense to deprecate the dbxelf in general?
