Why is this a bug? Saying V2DI is the preferred vector mode for DI does not imply that we can actually put V2DI in registers, does it? It isn't documented like that, in any case. (Of course it is somewhat silly to return a mode that cannot be used, and it is likely the target can do better.) Segher
