This has been committed to trunk as r16-3083 for about one week. I wonder if I could consider backporting it now. The change applies cleanly on gcc-14 and 15. For gcc-13, it doesn't apply. I will post a slightly different fix in a new email thread. I've bootstrapped and tested it on aarch64-linux-gnu with gcc-14 and 15. Ok for backporting now? Thanks, Pengfei
