there is somewhere a testcase for this, but it seems as those should be
separately reviewed.
* Testsuite changes – including enabling the new library.
The first two items seem to be rather independent.
In principle, I think it would be good to have the FE fixes with
testcases in first, then the library integration and then the testsuite
enabling.
But in any case, I think for the FE part, it makes sense to have a
proper patch email per patch – such that it can be reviewed one by one.
