Hmm, maybe we should ask the author (Sy Brand) about patent guarantees,
then.
GNU now discourages using CC0 for software for the same reason, but it
seems unlikely that there would be any patent risk from an
implementation of the standard library.
Still, the author might want to consider using a (very) lax permissive
free software license such as 0BSD.
