Hi, Now that the copyright paperwork is in place, I would like to submit the port I've worked on (ST20).
Ideally, I would like to create a dedicated branch for this. Here is the situation: -- the port was against GCC 3.3.x; -- even at that point, it required further work (< 10% of C-only tests failing); -- some modifications done to the core GCC are quite hacky and are not ready for immediate submission; -- there are quite a few modifications to the core in general; -- some implementation choices I've taken I'm afraid won't be met with enthusiasm; -- I don't expect a clean integration on the trunk anytime soon; -- I would like to provide the folks working with ST20 CPUs the way to try it early, and to gauge the interest in it to see if more effort is worth investing (and why not attracting other volunteers). So could I have a branch to continue this work ? Otherwise, I guess I could always release the "patches" as is for the record, then eventually continue on a sourceforge-style site. In any case, I will explain "how we did it" in a separate message. Dimitri Gorokhovik
