Hi,

about two weeks ago I started submitting patches for C++ compatibility.
Unfortunately reviewing as been, ahem, a bit slow. Probably because
nobody cares about C++ compatibility. As I have only send 4% of the
total patch so far, the current acceptance rate (as in 0 patches in 2
weeks) bothers me a bit.

Two weeks is a *very* short time for non-critical stuff. The size of
the patch matters as well. Also, you should ping patches from time to
time (every 1 or 2 weeks). Finally, some maintainers seem to assign a
chunk of time for reviewing patches from time to time. Thus, if you
have independent patches, send them all (in different emails) or you
may miss someone's review window.

Nonetheless, I don't want to discourage you in anyway from pursuing
your offer. On the contrary, good luck with it.

Cheers,

Manuel.
